Effective date: October 3, 2026.
Amber’s Antibodies, Inc. uses email to share fundraising appeals, event information, and news about our work. This notice explains how we handle information used for those emails and our email-preference pages.
This notice does not describe all information collected through donations, financial-assistance applications, or other parts of our website and programs.
For our email communications, we may keep:
Your email address and name, when provided.
Your mailing-list selections and communication preferences.
Where your subscription came from, when and how permission was recorded, and changes to that permission.
Records of messages sent, delivery results, failed deliveries, spam complaints, and unsubscribe requests.
Information about email opens and link clicks when tracking is enabled. Email services may use small tracking images and tracked links to collect these events and related technical information, such as timestamps, IP addresses, or device/browser information. Open measurements can be affected by privacy tools and are not always accurate.
Our email-preference hosting providers may also process technical information needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
We use this information to send the communications you have agreed to receive, manage mailing lists, honor your preferences, investigate delivery problems, prevent unwanted messages, and understand how our communications are performing.
We do not sell or rent our email mailing list or share it with sponsors or other organizations for their own use.
People authorized to manage our communications may access email records. We use service providers to deliver email and operate and protect our email-preference pages. These include Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare. Information needed to provide those services is processed through their systems.
If you receive emails through our existing Constant Contact service during the transition, Constant Contact also processes information associated with those emails.
You can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe or preference link in our marketing emails. Our new email-preference page does not require a login and lets you stop all marketing emails or opt out of individual lists where offered.
You can also contact [email protected] about your email preferences or to ask about, correct, or request removal of your email information.
Unsubscribing does not cancel a donation or delete a separate donor record. It does not stop non-marketing communications, such as a donation receipt or a response to a request you make.
Unsubscribing does not automatically erase your email record. We retain opt-out and complaint records so that an address is not accidentally added back to marketing mailings. We also keep consent and delivery records to manage and troubleshoot our communications. A request to remove information may still require us to retain a limited record of your opt-out.
Contact [email protected] with questions about this notice. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
